Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • ¾ cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp mint extract
  • 1⅔ cup flour
  • ⅓ cup cocoa
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 package (250g) dark chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375F
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar.
  3. Beat in egg and mint extract.
  4. In a medium bowl, mix together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
  5. Beat dry mixture into creamed mixture.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop small balls of dough onto a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 8 minutes for chewy cookies or up to 10 minutes for crunchier cookies.
