BassBuds Review {Reader Discount!!}

I’m sure that many of you are in the same position as I am, where you have only 18 shopping days left until Christmas, and you’re still searching for what to get people.

A great addition to everyone’s wish list are these new BassBuds. The folks there were kind enough to send me a pair to test out.

I was hoping to just open up an envelope for headphones, but I have to admit that I was thoroughly impressed when I opened the package to find a sleek black box with sparkly BassBuds nestled inside.

Not only are these great for music, but they can also be used with your smart phone. I’ve only had a chance to try them out on my phone once, but I’m hoping to use them on a regular basis for making hands free calls when I need to. There is an integrated microphone and a switch which allows you to answer or end a call; play or pause music and skip forwards and backwards.

Aside from having some great practical functions, I have to admit that I love the Swarovski Crystals embedded in the sides.

They add some bling to your ears!

The anti-tangle cord is great at preventing them from getting all tangled up, and I use the soft velvet storage bag to help keep them safe in my purse when not in use.

The BassBuds come with black, white and memory foam earbuds in three sizes. I often find it hard to get headphones that fit just right, but by having all the sizes, it makes it easy to find the perfect fit and most comfortable style. It also makes it easy to replace them if you lose a piece.

I took them with us to Florida, to give them a test drive during all our layovers. On both my laptop and my iPod, they gave incredibly clear sound.

After wearing them for two hours to watch our movie, I have to say that they are the most comfortable earbuds I’ve ever used. They are also excellent at cancelling out sound, which was awesome in an airport with people shouting over one another about layovers and flight cancellations.

I don’t have to do public transit for my commute anymore, but I can see how great these would have been then. Especially when you’re trying to cut out the city noise and just relax with some music!

Mine came in platinum, but they are available in a variety of fun colours.

In conclusion, I think these would be a great gift for anyone on your list. If you’re gifting a handheld gaming system, smart phone, iPod or iPad – I think that this would be a great product to combine with that gift.
