Yesterday afternoon was absolutely gorgeous, so we started our St Patrick’s day fun outside on the patio at The Cloak and Dagger, a small little Irish pub on College Street on. After a cold grey winter it was so nice to get back out in the sunshine!
Then it was over to the Duke of Gloucester on Yonge Street, where we got some Guinness tattoos…don’t worry Ma, they’re fake 🙂
Ashley failed at putting her tattoo on. Its ok, Ash, we still love you.
Even Al came out for a couple of pints!
And she was cute as a button with her little green bow in her hair.
Ashley and I managed to score some new black Guinness t-shirts 🙂
There was lots of beer…
…and good food too. Mac and Cheese with bacon. yum!
I have absolutely no idea what was going on here.

The big surprise of the night was when Elaine came by. I worked with her on the Moraine Train last November and I had no idea that we had mutual friends.
Don’t you love coincidences like that?
All-in-all it was a great night with lots of new and old friends, just the kind of St. Paddy’s Day I was hoping for. And thankfully no one tried to dye my beer green!
