Longing for the Long Weekend (and Giveaway Winner!)

Today has been one of those hectic work days where I am trying to cram in everything that I possibly can. I’m gearing up for the Toronto International Film Festival next week and anyone who is in film industry (like me) is swamped with trying to get all of our stuff ready in time. My one goal today is to get as much done as I can so that I don’t have to do any work during the long weekend. Here’s hoping that I actually stick to that and remember to leave my blackberry alone long enough to enjoy a nice drink by the pool!

(The odds aren’t with me on this one.)

The only moment I’ve had to myself today is right now. I’m taking a 15 minutes break to eat a beautifully crisp green apple, see whats going on in the bloggy world and the best part….picking a winner of the first Fall Fitness Challenge Giveaway! I used Random.org, and it selected #2, who is none other than…(drum roll please)…

Rachel from A Cupcake for Moose! This lovely (expecting!) lady wrote:
I love snacking on veggie sticks and plain greek yogurt with fruit and granola.

Congrats! I’m with you on this one. I love packing veggies in my lunch, but I’m still on the hunt for good greek yogurt here in Canada that is nut-safe. (If anyone knows of some, please tell me!)

Well, I’m off to finish the rest of this crazy workday, and then crash the second I walk through the door. Here’s to some rest and relaxation this long weekend!
