I have never gotten a taste for the world’s top beverage of choice. Sure, I’ve been inticed by the strong warm smell of freshly brewed coffee, but I just can’t stand to drink it. Its taken me years to be able to drink even mild herbal teas.
My sister is a different story. If given the chance, she could drink a whole pot, and I have to say that I’m a little jealous sometimes that she has that ability to get that extra boost in the morning, while I slug along. I’ve had little sleep the past few nights with busy days and I would love to be able to get up and start my day with a nice warm drink and a little caffeine kick.
That being said, in my family’s house being a non-coffee drinker does not get you off of coffee making duty if you’re the first one up in the morning. I’ve known the EXACT ratio for that coffee pot for years. I can do it in my sleep (and I often am still a little asleep).
Maybe someday I’ll get into the habit and enjoy it. For now I’ll just admire those girls who can sit in Starbucks or grab a cup and walk around the mall.
So now I throw it back to you:

While I love my coffee (and I never used to, not until I started college), I have never found it to give me a morning perk or boost. I could drink a cup in bed and then go to sleep. So unfortunately, when I’m up late working on a project, I don’t have coffee to help get me through. Same as energy drinks too, they do nothing for me. I usually have coffee most mornings (a bit of sugar and milk) but I only drink about 1/2 the cup, not sure why actually.
And while I wish my waist line and bank account would allow me to get Starbucks or Second Cup daily, I limit myself to once a week. Usually it’s a vanilla bean latte, but during the fall season it’s a pumpkin spice latte and at Christmastime, it’s a gingerbread latte or eggnog latte.
Mmmm too much talk about coffee. It’s so warm and comforting. And come to think of it, I didn’t have one this morning!

I’m not a coffee drinker. I LOVE the smell of coffee; but, can’t stand the taste. LOL. 🙂
I just usually have water with breakfast in the morning when I get up.

I didn’t start drinking coffee until college when I NEEDED it to stay awake. After graduating a laid off the stuff until about a 2 years ago when I moved in with my bf.. he got me hoked again… love the stuff. Can’t go a day without it and I think this is partly because it’s now part of my morning routine!

I am not a coffee drinker. I will have the occasional (maybe twice a year) Cafe Mocha in the middle of the day as a snack, otherwise I don’t touch the stuff.

Love coffee! Real half and half, NOT the powdered creamer! It’s terrific.
Also as an after dinner drink with cream and Kahlua in it, or in a latte, or spiced….the possibilities are endless.

I love coffee, but lately my morning drink of choice is English breakfast tea with a little sugar and milk. Soo warm and mellow with just a tiny hit of caffeine.

I started drinking coffee in college, and now I love it! The best is a small McDonalds coffee with 2 creamers 🙂
I agree with Rachel on the sugar & milk in your tea too (Earl Grey Tea for me). Try a London Fog – its Earl Grey Tea with milk & vanilla flavoring.

I like both the smell and taste of coffee but I don’t drink it much because I hate the way it makes me feel. Jumpy, jittery, upset stomach. However, lately, the Starbucks pumpkin spice latte has been calling my name…
