Happy Father’s Day!

If I wasn’t super busy on set right now, this is probably where I would be. Sitting on the dock, sharing some Father’s Day cinnamon buns with my family, like this photo from a few years ago. Its always a great way to celebrate the day – especially when you have a great Dad like we do.

There are so many things that I am thankful for that he does and I don’t think that celebrating one day is enough. Between him and my mama, we’re just about the luckiest kiddos around.

How did he ever end up with a goofy bunch of weirdos like us, right?

He takes us on rides in his classic cars…

…occasionally wears obnoxious Hawaiian/Hot Rod shirts (I love this one)

He prides himself on all the hard work he puts into these beauties…

…and sometimes he even lets us drive one.

His love of motorized vehicles includes boats too…

…and he’s always happy to take us out for a spin.

He even lets Whiskey be his co-captain.
He taught us how to fish and have fun…

…even if we just catch the little ones.

He gave us a love of animals, whether its a good family dog or rescuing an injured little bird.

He (and my mama) have taught us the importance of a great relationship…

…and how to enjoy the simpler things in life, like a nice cup of coffee down by the water.

He’s always got a trick up his sleeve…

…and he can tease us like nobody else.
Happy Father’s Day, Dad!
