Technical Difficulties are kicking my behind!

Things have been crazy around here lately! And to make matters worse, my mouse and keyboard just died on my iMac last night, so I can’t so the final post for the 100 Miles in May yet. But I won’t be beat down, so be back tomorrow for that post!

It always seems to be that when it rains, it pours. I’ve taken on a new film project right now, which is super exciting, but very demanding of my time. One day this week I had 133 emails alone. Geez, thats alot of typing. Of course that is when you start to have computer problems, right? I’m lucky that I have my trusty old laptop from university around, because otherwise I’d be totally stuck.

And to make matters worse, my apartment got so hot with this heatwave that my blackberry overheated! Thankfully a little time in front of the fan with the battery pulled out seemed to cool it down okay.

Whats a girl to do?

First off, I kept things in perspective. I could feel all week that I was reaching that point of burn out and ultra-stress mode, so I took a couple of hours off last night to watch Limitless with my guys.

We piled onto the couch and I just zoned out for two hours. I immersed myself in the story and just let go.

And you know what? Everything was okay. Nothing major happened that couldn’t be handled when I got back into work mode later that night.

Sometimes I just need to remember to take a breathier. And watch something like this (click the link, I couldn’t get it to embed…of course)

What do you do when everything seems to be working against you?
Any tips and tricks would be much appreciated 🙂
