Dogs Winter

Its Snowing!

I’m on my lunch break right now at the office and I just looked outside to see that its SNOWING!

I still feel like a giddy kid when I see it. Even if it means that I have to drive slower to get home, and I have to shovel the steps to take the dog out, I’m still excited.

And I’m even more happy that I bought my new Sorel winter boots last night. What are the odds that I’d do that the night before the first snow?

They are big and super cozy. I would have worn them around the house all night if I could have.

I’m sure that if Whiskey looks out the window at the apartment, he’ll probably be dreading the thought of winter.

The chihuahua in him just doesn’t appreciate the cold weather.

Occasionally I can get him to go for a run out at my friend’s property.

Running around and wrestling with Keela is a good distraction from the cold…for a bit…

…and then he’s back under the covers, trying to get warm.
