On one of our walks this weekend, I was shocked to see this front yard absolutely COVERED in leaves.

As a kid, I would have wanted to rake those all up and jump in them.

So vibrant and fun. Love the crunchy noise of them underfoot.

I tried to use this as an opportunity to take a cute fall photo of Whiskey, but he refused to look at the camera.

And then he saw a squirrel and our photo shoot was over. The next photo after this as a blur as he ran around me to catch his prey.
We went home, I made the first hot chocolate of the season and started working on some fun projects to share this week. I love cozy fall weather : )
Also…

Today marks the 1 year anniversary of Garrett and I living in our apartment together. It’s hard to believe that it has already been a year. Feels like we just moved in!

But at the same time it definitely feels like our home. I couldn’t imagine us being anywhere else right now. I mean, I would love it if we could own a house soon, but if we have to rent in the meantime, this is where I want to be. At home with the man and our pooch.
I am always grateful for the wonderful blog.
