Another Friday means some more Friday Favourites to share with you all! I just took one last scroll through the pics and they are all light, airy and bright. Do you think maybe I’ve got spring on my mind? Yesterday morning was absolutely gorgeous out (in comparison to what we’ve been having), so we opened up the windows while having breakfast and aired out the apartment. I even made the mistake of declaring “it feels like spring!”.
Mother Nature just laughed and gave me a lovely snow squall to drive home in, complete with slippery roads and white knuckle driving. Here’s hoping that all this rain and snow will lead to lovely green grass by the time our wedding comes around in May. There is always a bright side.

DIY Floral Arrangement: As the daughter of a floral designer, I have a great love of homemade floral arrangements such as the Pumpkin Vase Flower Arrangement and DIY Wildflower Wedding Centrepieces. The wonderful Jenny Steffens Hobick shared this great tutorial this week on flower arranging with step-by-step instructions. Fresh flowers is one of my favourite ways to make the winter blues go away.
Easy Artwork Display: I’m loving these DIY Photo Clipboards to hold photographs or kid’s artwork. So easy to swap things out whenever you like! Check out the awesome food photography that Liz took to fill her frames. Such a great use of light!
Handy Door Mat: There have been a few times where I could have definitely used this door mat.
Cutest Kitchen Accessories: Springtime always makes me want to clean up our kitchen and keep it fresh and bright. This collection of Bistro Canisters from Anthrophologie is clean and simple, with a little French flair. Oui?
Tiny Office: I would love a small desk/mail center like this one in my kitchen someday. Do you see those mail cubbies?!? How cute! I have my desk in our dining room right now and it’s great to have it so close to the kitchen. I can pop in there to look up a recipe quickly or respond to an email while I’m waiting for water to boil.
Bridal Shoes: The hunt is on this weekend for bridal shoes. I adore these ones from BHLDN, but they’re a little out of my price range. I’m hoping to find something reasonable but still cute!
Childhood Memory: I totally forgot about kid’s fascinations with door stops until I saw this. I can remember getting a real good beat going with that thing.
