It’s finally starting to feel like the holidays around here! We celebrated the American Thanksgiving with Garrett’s family that was visiting from South Carolina last week. I love celebrating both – we get double the turkey!
On the weekend, we kicked off the holiday season with a trip to a pioneer village to see it all decked out for the holidays and covered in lights.
All the festive Christmas trees really got us in the spirit. I started to dig out our Christmas bins over the weekend and have slowly started getting the house decorated. I’ll be sharing everything next week in a Holiday Home Tour.
We also took Lucy to a kids’ Christmas party and she had a blast. She met Santa (which didn’t go over too well), played on some carnival rides and met a falcon up close.
We had to laugh though because she was definitely more interested in the inflatable decorations than all the rides.
Oh…and the food. She is always interested in the food, ha! You can see more of our holiday fun this weekend on the vlog. Check it out here or on my YouTube Channel.
