Fitness Toronto

Off to where the wild things are…

I’m up super early on this lovely October Saturday morning to do something that I have NEVER done before.

I’m doing my first official race! I’m participating in the 5km ZooRun at the Toronto Zoo. I had planned to do the 10km, but they sold out very fast. But now that the pressure is on, I’m kind of glad that I picked something lighter for the first go around. Baby steps, right?

The best part of this run is that you do it all through the zoo!
Its not every day that you get to see one of these while you’re running.

…or one of these for that matter.
I’ll be posting about the race this Wednesday for the Fall Fitness Challenge, so be sure to stop by!

Hope that you all have a wonderful Saturday and get out there to enjoy this great weather!
