Autumn Dogs Toronto

Whiskey’s Fall Walk

This morning I woke up to see the tree out front looking like it was on fire! I love the bright red colours. Its hard to believe that its been almost a year since I posted about this tree on the very first day I started Small Home Big Start. Time is going by so fast!

With the nice Fall weather, it seemed like a perfect day for Whiskey and I to bundle up for a nice walk through Trinity Bellwoods Park.

It was a perfect Autumn morning: the trees are changing, kids are running through the leaves and it is just the right temperature for walking around.

Even Whiskey had a sweater on today. My dad actually picked this out at Target last year when we were in Maine. I think he liked it because it looked like a fishing vest. I even keep doggie bags in the back pouch!

Trinity Bellwoods park is a beautiful place to visit if you’re in downtown Toronto. I love all the trees, the great dog park and plenty of people watching.

Whiskey just likes it because of the squirrels and the birds. The little American Dingo in him is always ready for the hunt…while the Chihuahua in him is already shivering in this weather. See how it looks like he’s only on two legs? Well, thats because he is. When he gets cold, he holds two up on one side and alternates back and forth. Its pretty hilarious to watch.

Before you know it, the weather will turn for the worse, but right now we’re going to enjoy every beautiful Fall day like this while they still last!
