After the sugar-laden weeks leading up to Halloween, I’ve decided to go into a big of a sugar detox. I was just eating too much sweet things and I think that it was starting to negatively affect me.
There is no way that I can cut sugar out of my diet completely, but there are things that I can do to limit how much sugar I consume. I’m still allowing myself to have one treat a day, whether its a couple of homemade cookies, a piece of really good chocolate or a small serving of apple crisp. I’m also trying to cut back on how much white, refined carbs I’m eating, because those may has well be sugar too.
