Decor Easter Spring

All Decorated for Easter

After a long and cold winter, I am loving how nice it is to warm up the house with all the soft pastel colours of Spring. A couple of weeks ago I made my little Easter Tree and it made such an improvement to my mood.

Every time I see these little bunnies, I smile.
I also smile when I see these bowls of candy in the kitchen 🙂

I grabbed these bowls on sale from Target.com last year and I’ve been waiting all year to find the chance to use them! They are perfect for holding all these goodies (which will be gone in no time)

The basket weave design works great for Spring, but I also might use them in the Fall for a harvest theme too!

I think that Mini Eggs are just about one of the best things in the world. Stay tuned for a recipe I’m posting on Wednesday that uses these awesome little wonders.

No one is more hopeful for the warmer weather than Whiskey. He spends so much of his time watching all the little birdies out of the apartment window. I changed over the sheets from the thick red plaid flannel sheets to these fresh neutral colours for the warmer weather. Every time I come in here he has puffed up all the pillows into a little doggie nest, and it watching the world go by. I think he is just counting down the days until he can go outside without a sweater.
I have an extra short work week (only three days!), so I am eagerly awaiting the Easter weekend. I just can’t wait to spend some time with family and friends…and eat my eight in chocolate 🙂
