I popped in to see my parents the other day and when I looked in the freezer for a treat, I saw two things staring back at me: a carton of vanilla ice cream and a bag of my Nana’s Fantastic Oatmeal Cookies. It was like lighting struck me right there in the kitchen.
Before I knew it, I was scooping some cool and creamy ice cream up and sandwiching it between two delicious oatmeal cookies.
It was a super easy treat to make and tasted way better than any store bought one that I’ve ever had. I love finding a new way to use a family favorite recipe!
