Summer

Holding onto Summer

This week it just hit me that there is only a month left of summer. A month?!?! How am I supposed to fit in all those things that I would like to do?

This happens every year, where I get to the end of it and realize that in a few short weeks the days will start to get even shorter and much colder. I’m already going through Summer withdrawl and its not even over yet. I love Fall, but I also know I’m going to miss so many of the wonderful sights and sounds of Summer.

Great Finds at the Farmer’s Markets
My Little Garden
Drive In Dates
Camping and Enjoying the Outdoors
Backyard BBQs
Boat Rides
Outdoor Festivals
and most importantly, Summer Sunsets
My goal for the next four weeks is to make the most of the last of the great Summer weather. Come Winter, I’ll be glad to have the memories to hold onto. As my mother says, “I wish I could bottle up a day like this and save it for January”.
