Christmas Holidays

A Christmas Market

With the Christmas season comes the plethora of bazaars, markets and gift shows full of wonderful ideas. My mom and I had the chance to pop into one this weekend and take a look around for gift ideas.

It was held at a grade school and they had the gym all gussied up for the holiday.

There were many booths showing a variety of gift ideas, from baskets to baked goodies to many handmade treasures.

These felt Christmas Tree wine bottle covers would make a great hostess gift.

For those of us who don’t have the time to make a gingerbread house, these pre-made ones were all ready to be decorated.

Homemade jams are always such a treat, and this booth made it easy for everyone to sample their wares.

Jam samples on scones? Genius! (and delicious)

So many choices!

This sweet little girl was helping her mom sell adorable handknit hats. What a cutie!

If any of my friends had little babies right now, I’d be getting them these for Christmas. So cute! Be sure to check out her facebook page (look for Button-It Hats!)

There were also some adorable pieces for the little guys too.

Another popular booth were these hand painted glass pieces.

The holly painted ornaments were my favourite.

The booths that I find stand out the most are one like this, that make a point of having a great display.

Between the crates full of goodies and all the festive colours, I was drawn to it right away

Look at how adorable these hats are! If I ever learn how to properly knit (not just make a scarf), I’d love to make some of these felted Christmas hats.

These chocolate covered festive Oreos were pretty cute too.

There were many booths set up with crafts for kids (and adults alike) to participate in, including this pottery display. Such a good idea to keep little ones busy while the mothers shop.

Another great distraction? Santa!
It was an adorable country display, complete with hay bales and Christmas Trees!

I’m looking forward to catching a few more shows before the holidays, and then I have to crafting soon, or I won’t have them all done in time!

Wow! Thank you so much for “covering” our event so well. We hope you return next year when we get our “glitches” worked out and have an even Better event! : )
    Thanks again for your support.

I would also like to thank you! Your pictures are great! And it was nice to be able to share pictures of my little booth with Friends and Family that couldn’t make it to the show! I will also be adding you to my blog reads!

    Cheers!

I love those holly painted ornaments and glasswork! Wish we had a similar show nearby I could visit, I love them but there’s hardly any over here heh.
