These salted chocolate-covered caramels are a harmonious blend of rich smooth dark chocolate, sweet chewy caramel and crunchy sea salt. It may sound like an odd combination, but when they’re put together they create a treat that is hard to resist. And what If I told you that I was able to make 30 of these treats in less than 15 minutes and for only $5.
The secret ingredient is using these wrapped caramels. I’ve always loved these little sweets on their own, but enrobe them in decadent chocolate and you’ve got a whole new creation.
The best part is that they are ridiculously easy to make and they’re the perfect addition to any other Christmas goodies you may be giving away this holiday season. That is if you don’t eat them all yourself first!
What you’ll need:
- 30 caramels, unwrapped
- 4 squares premium dark baking chocolate
- 1 tbsp sea salt
Melt the chocolate in the microwave on high for 1-2 minutes or until chocolate is almost melted.
