Last night, after barbecuing up some homemade burgers, we headed out with friends to do something none of us had done in a long time….bowling!
It was fun to revisit something that I loved doing as a kid. Even this goof came along – it’s a miracle he didn’t get his fingers stuck in the 10 pin balls.
It took awhile for us all to get into the swing of things again (and we were totally shown up by that little kid on the left) but after awhile we got better and all got some strikes. The kid still did have the best post-strike dance moves though and to Michael Jackson Greatest Hits no less.
Garrett attempted to bowl “Granny-style” a few times, much to the amusement of everyone else.
And in the end he was the winner of both games. I’m just happy that I didn’t accidentally throw the ball back into the crowd…which has happened in the past. Oops!
