Birthday

Happy Birthday Garrett! – A Year in Phone Photos

Today is the third time that I’ve been lucky enough to celebrate Garrett’s birthday with him. He woke up this morning to kisses from Whiskey and a copy of The Dark Knight Rises to enjoy on his day off. I wish I was able to be there to spend it with him, but alas work calls.

I was looking through my phone this morning, at all the fun adventures we’ve been on together this year and I got thinking about all the things about him that I love so much.

He is suave and debonair.

and downright goofy.

He puts up with my seasonal antics,

and makes me remember how great arcade games are.

He treats me to spur-of-the-moment lunch dates,

and helps take care of our community garden.

He selflessly donates blood,

and takes are of our dog. This is probably one of my favourite things about him.

Whiskey is his running buddy,

and his hiking pal.

They take after work naps together. (Whiskey gets exhausted after a long day).

and cuddle up at night together.

Whiskey especially loved to burrow under his arms,

Or crawl up in his shirt.

Garrett, you are my everything and I plan to make your birthdays special for the rest of your life, just like you make me feel everyday. Happy Birthday!!!!!

P.S. – There is a White Chocolate Peppermint Cake in the fridge with your name on it. See you after work!
