Blog

Exciting Things on the Horizon

This month marks seven years of blogging. I can hardly believe I’ve been writing here that long and at the same time it’s hard to remember a time when I didn’t have the blog. It’s been the place I’ve shared my journey from a single girl living in the city with her dog, to moving in with Garrett, getting married, finding our dream home in the country and now raising our little Lucy. It’s been a wild ride and I love being able to look back on older posts, and I’m so touched that anyone takes the time to read what I write. Thank you for following along on our journey!

amanda-lucy-apple-pickingI’d like to say a BIG thank you to everyone who took the time to do my readers survey a couple of weeks ago. I was so overwhelmed by all your responses and it really helped me narrow in on what I’d like to do with this blog over the coming months…and hopefully years! I’ve got a few good announcements that I’m excited to share with you today!

Monthly Newsletter

This is something I’ve been excited to launch for awhile now. On the first Friday of every month, I’ll be sending out a newsletter with exclusive content. You can subscribe by filling out the form on the sidebar of the blog . This will also send you an email every time a new post is up. Subscribers will also be eligible for extra entries in some upcoming giveaways! (more on that below)

The first newsletter goes out next Friday and I hope you’ll all subscribe to see what it’s all about 🙂

House Renovations Update

Our sweet little Lucy turns five months old this week (how is that possible?) and now that we’re getting settled into our routine, I’m finally getting the chance to move forward on some exciting room renovations in the works for 2017. We love our cozy farmhouse and it made me so happy to hear that lots of you love it too. The pregnancy, caring for a newborn and starting our Cloverhill Flower business this summer forced me to put a pause on most of what we were working on around the house. We’ve started to work on two rooms right now and I’ll be sharing more about them in early 2017. In the meantime, I’ll be sharing some projects and recipes for my favourite time of year…the holidays!

Holiday Guide 2016

Can you hear those jingle bells? Yep, it’s only two months until Christmas, and with that comes a whole season of celebrating. On November 1st I’ll be releasing this year’s Holiday Guide with my entire archive of holiday projects, recipes, activities and more. And this year I’ll be sharing even more new Christmas posts than ever before, including recipes, projects and new gift guides with great giveaways! Make sure to subscribe to the newsletter (in the right sidebar) and follow along on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to get the latest updates.

Thanks again for taking the time out of your day to stop by Life at Cloverhill. I always love to hear from you and I read every comment, email and message.

I love following your blog. I feel kinda at home reading it and following along Lucy’s journey. My daughter is only a few months younger! So glad I found a blog I can count on. I honestly feel like it’s because I can relate to most of what you’re experiencing in rural Ontario! Cheers!

Looking forward to the newsletter Amanda! Where can I subscribe?
BTW, I made your slow cooker chilli last night for dinner; I’m not a huge slow cooker fan (sometimes I find it all tastes the same!) but my kid’s busy lives sometimes dictates our meal schedule. The chilli was awesome and I loved all the beans in it (I like when I can feed a protein-filled meal to my kids that isn’t all meat). Thanks for sharing and I’ll be making that again!
