This past weekend, we took a trip to Toronto for Lucy’s first visit to The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. I’ve put together a little vlog to share our fun day out and you can catch it at the end of the post. It had been eight years since I had been to The Royal, which was also the first month of the blog! I always loved to go to The Royal as a kid and I was so excited to take Lucy this time.
It’s great seeing all the agricultural displays and celebrating the accomplishments of farming in our country.
It’s so important that people from all over learn more about how our food is grown and the hard-working people who grow it. There was also lots of fun shopping for the holidays, with vendors from all over the country.
Lucy was in absolute heaven with all the animals (especially in the petting zoo) and was right into all the goodies at the food court – perogies, ice cream sandwiches and the classic Tiny Tom donuts.
The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair is still running from now until November 12th if you’re in the Toronto area this weekend. It’s definitely worth checking out for adults and kids alike!
