Wrapping presents is one of my favourite parts of gift giving during the holidays. I really enjoy taking the time to pick a fun paper, add lovely ribbon or bows and tie on a festive tag – making it extra special for the recipient. This year I made my own Woodland Christmas Gift Tags as a FREE printable and I’m excited to share them with you. I designed them with botanicals, birds and bells to create a winter woodland theme. I was able to get the colours rich and the details crisp thanks to my new Canon PIXMA TS9521C printer. I’ve used Canon DSLR cameras and printers exclusively for years and have always been extremely impressed with the quality and versatility of their products. This new printer has been a real workhorse in my home office this week while I’ve been getting ready for Christmas – printing gift tags, Christmas photos, holiday meal planners, you name it!
I put together this sheet of 8 FREE gift tags that you can print at home RIGHT NOW and use for wrapping gifts. All you need is scissors to cut them out and a hole punch if you want to tie them on with string. (Link to download below)
I love how the gift tags turned out with the winter birds, golden bells and festive botanicals. They pair well with all kinds of gift wrap colours and textures.
I printed the gift tags out on my new Canon PIXMA TS9521C, dubbed the “Crafter’s All-in-One” Printer and I can see why. This printer was made with crafting and scrapbooking in mind and has fantastic features like 12″x12″ borderless printing, built-in printable patterns and versatile paper feeding options. It tackles everyday printing easily too from photos and documents to school projects and invitations.
You can print wirelessly from all your favourite devices, whether that is a smartphone, tablet, memory card or computer – print what you want, from the device you want. I was able to print our Christmas photos right from my phone instantly, tucking them into our Christmas cards. The Canon PIXMA TS9521C also has a large 4.3″ LCD touchscreen with a very responsive and intuitive design. This printer would make an amazing last minute Christmas present for any crafter, blogger, scrapbooker, homeschooler or photographer on your list!
When printing these gifts tags, I went with Canon’s full sheet Matte Photo Paper. It has the stiffness of a good quality cardstock with the vibrancy of a top notch photo paper.
Once the gift tags were printed from the Canon PIXMA TS9521C, it was just a matter of cutting them out with sharp scissors, punching a hole and tying them to the gifts. I printed a few pages in mere minutes and stocked up my desk so they’re ready to go for gift wrapping. (You can see my desk setup in the new 2019 Holiday Home Tour)
Tie them onto your gifts with ribbon, twine, jingle bells, greenery, whatever you like. I hope these gift tags help with your own Christmas wrapping! Thank you to my friends at Canon Canada for sponsoring this blog post.
