Make a gorgeous DIY Spring Easter Egg Wreath in less than an hour, with just a few simple materials. It’s the perfect way to upgrade your front door for Spring!
I absolutely adore the wild and whimsical floral designs I’ve seen coming out of the UK recently and wanted to recreate that for a front door wreath for spring.
Nothing says springtime quite like pastel Easter eggs and spring flowers.
Pre-made wreaths in stores and online can be really expensive. I love doing crafts when I have some time, especially when I can make something special for our home, at a fraction of the cost of what I find in store. This simple Spring Easter Egg Wreath design was easy to make in less than an hour AND for under $20!
It all started when I came across these adorable fuzzy Easter eggs and knew I needed to find a way to incorporate them into some Easter decor.

I reused a wreath form and purple flowers from a previous Simple Summer Wreath project and found everything else from our local dollar store (Dollarama for Canadians).
That’s the great thing about using hot glue (or wire) – you can reuse the wreath form or decorations for another project later on. Or keep it together and reuse it year after year.
How to Make a Spring Egg Wreath {Video}
Step 1: Start by adding a filler foliage to the grapevine wreath. This gives the wreath a nice background in case you have bare spots when adding the flowers. Having different foliages adds more dimension to the wreath as well. I found this foliage as a garland, but discovered it was easier to cut it into smaller pieces and hot glue them to the wreath form. It helps to add all the greenery and flowers going in the same direction.
Step 2: Cut faux flower stems from the larger branch. Hot glue into place all around the wreath. Continue with both flowers.
Step 3: Cut faux egg picks to size (mine were too long) and hot glue onto the wreath.
Step 4: String a ribbon through the back and hang on your front door. Ta-da!
