Christmas Family Holidays

Remembering to stop and smell the evergreens

I’ve been a little over stressed lately, trying to get everything done at the office before I head home for the Holidays, getting my Christmas shopping done started and finding time to see friends and family. I saw an Elf Yourself video on a friend’s facebook today and it instantly made me laugh and relax a little. Sometimes you need something to just make you stop and remember the fun of this time of year and let all the stress slide away for a little while.

So, in the spirit of corny videos to embarrass my siblings, here is a little video I put together while taking a snack break at the office….gotta love things that make you laugh and only take a few minutes to do! And of course it has to have a little bit of country music in it too!

I’m heading up to my great aunt’s place tonight to learn how to make her fabulous Christmas pudding. Its been a tradition in our family for years and I’m happy to be able to know how to do it. It’ll be a nice relaxing evening spent with one of my favorite people in the world : )
