Friends New Years Party

Party Time!

Instead of spending the money on a big night out in the city, my friend Amy hosted a New Years Eve party in our hometown and we invited friends from all over. It was a great mix of people and we all had a really fun night.

Our theme was Hollywood Glam, so many people dressed up for the occasion. My sneaker and jeans lovin’ boyfriend even got all dressed up for the evening.

My good friends in the city even came up to join in the festivities. I loved this picture….until I noticed Dave behind us. Thanks buddy!

We had plenty of amazing food there, including my personal favorite: the chocolate fountain. I could literally spend the entire evening standing in front of it dipping fruit.

Before we knew it, the clock struck midnight and it was time for the noisemakers. Woohoo!

 Goodbye 2010, Hello 2011!

And what better way to ring in the New Year than a Wii Just Dance marathon.

Everyone got into the action and started dancing.

I think these three could have a career as an 80s cover band.

My competitive streak may or may not have come out when I was up against this dance machine.

I even went head-to-head with the boyfriend. I may have let him win 😉
Hope that everyone had a wonderful New Year! All the best in 2011!

P.S. – I’ve got some great recipes lined up to share with you next week. Its been a quiet couple weeks here on SHBS, but I’ll be back in action on Monday!
