Country

Hell on Heels

Today is one of those days when I’m working around the house getting some projects done. My creative juices must be flowing, because I keep bouncing from one thing to the next. Its been a busy Summer with work related projects, so its nice to get some home projects done too.

While I’ve been working away, I heard this song by Miranda Lambert’s new group Pistol Annies.

Right away, I love this song. Its got a great old country sound to it that is more gritty than most of the modern country that gets radio play these days. It reminds me of the backwoods radio stations I’ve picked up while road tripping through the Southern US. I’m not one to go out and buy a new album very often, but I’ll definitely be getting this one when it comes out. You can catch the full official video on YouTube.

What music do you like to listen to while you’re working away?

What a great song. I haven’t heard it until now, but I love the old country sound, too. Hope you enjoyed your day of house projects. We did the same. 🙂
