Thanksgiving

Things I Learned This Thanksgiving Weekend

  1. Getting your first car makes you obsessive about cleaning it…until you wake up the next morning to see it covered in leaves and pine needles.
  2. Refinishing a dining room table top does not take “just a couple of hours”…I still have to get outside this morning to finish it.
  3. Eating too much combined with sitting beside a funny storytelling cousin will make your stomach hurt.
  4. Even just a little piece of Mom’s pumpkin pie is a cure-all. (Whipped cream is optional)
  5. Having all your family in one house may make it a lot louder, but it also fills it with a lot of love. I`m going to miss my brother and sister when they head back to school today. Thankfully its not long until they come home for the holidays.

To all my friends in Canada, I hope you`re having a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend and to my American friends, Happy Columbus Day!
