Things I Learned This Thanksgiving Weekend

Getting your first car makes you obsessive about cleaning it…until you wake up the next morning to see it covered in leaves and pine needles.
Refinishing a dining room table top does not take “just a couple of hours”…I still have to get outside this morning to finish it.
Eating too much combined with sitting beside a funny storytelling cousin will make your stomach hurt.
Even just a little piece of Mom’s pumpkin pie is a cure-all. (Whipped cream is optional)
Having all your family in one house may make it a lot louder, but it also fills it with a lot of love. I`m going to miss my brother and sister when they head back to school today. Thankfully its not long until they come home for the holidays.
