I’m a total sucker for Valentine’s Day. I love the pink and red hearts. The chocolate. The flowers. The homemade cards. All of it. Lets be honest…I love any excuse to celebrate a holiday!
My mother is well aware of my love of holidays, as she is the one who gave it to me, so she picked me up these cute cupcake supplies the last time she went to the States. Pillsbury Valentine Funfetti Icing with sprinkles, cute cupcake liners and adorable little heart picks.
I used a vanilla cupcake recipe for a dozen cupcakes and then got to work icing them with the sweet pink icing. I also couldn’t help myself from dipping my finger in the jar too – its just so good!
Topped off with some of the sprinkles and these little heart picks, this was a super easy and delicious Valentine’s Day treat. Thanks Mom!
Another sweet thing is that Garrett is actually the one who took these pictures for me. I’ve been going to work really early and getting home late these days, so my super sweet boyfriend took these pictures for me when he got home from work. Gotta love a man who helps you get natural light.
Last year’s Valentine’s Day dinner at home was a big success, so we decided to do it again this year. We’ve dug out the fondue pot from my parents’ basement and we’re going to give it a try tonight. We’ll probably watch The Walking Dead tonight too. Zombies are romantic, right?
Hope you all have a wonderful Valentine’s Day full of chocolate. Its only 10am and I’ve already had some Hershey’s Kisses. So it begins….

Thanks Maureen! I always love hearing that people make my recipes and hopefully you have as much fun making them as I do sharing them!
